2.2 Payment Information

Payments may be processed by third party payment processors such as PayPal and other payment service providers used on our site. We do not store full payment card numbers or full financial account credentials on our own servers.
We may receive limited payment related information from payment processors, such as payment status, transaction identifiers, payer information, billing information, and subscription status, for the purpose of managing your account and subscription.

When you use the website or Service, we may automatically collect technical and usage information such as:

3. Meta Platform Data (Facebook and Instagram)

If you choose to connect a Facebook Page or an Instagram Business or Creator account to BeeTopic, we receive limited information from Meta solely to provide the Service to you. This information may include:
Your Facebook Page ID, Page name, and Page profile picture.

Your Instagram Business or Creator account ID, username, and profile picture.

Access tokens issued by Meta that authorize BeeTopic to act on your behalf.

Basic Page or account insights such as reach, impressions, follower counts, and post engagement.

Information about posts you publish through BeeTopic, including post identifiers, status, and performance metrics.

We use Meta Platform Data only for the following purposes:

To publish content you create in BeeTopic to your connected Facebook Page or Instagram account at your explicit request.

To display performance metrics and post status inside your BeeTopic dashboard.

To maintain the integrity of the connection, refresh tokens, and notify you if the connection is interrupted.

What we do not do with Meta Platform Data:

We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade Meta Platform Data to any third party.

We do not use Meta Platform Data for advertising, retargeting, look-alike audiences, or to build user profiles.

We do not combine Meta Platform Data across different BeeTopic users.

We do not use Meta Platform Data to make decisions about eligibility for housing, employment, insurance, credit, or any other sensitive purpose.

Access tokens are stored encrypted at rest. Meta Platform Data is retained only for as long as your Meta connection remains active. You may disconnect at any time from inside BeeTopic, or from your Facebook Business Settings under Business Integrations. Disconnection deletes your tokens and Meta-derived data within 30 days. Our use and transfer of information received from Meta APIs adheres to the Meta Platform Terms and applicable Developer Policies.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, keep users logged in, measure performance, analyze traffic, improve functionality, secure the Service, and support marketing activities where permitted.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not sell, share, or transfer Meta Platform Data to any third party except as strictly necessary to provide the Service to you.

8. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Service, maintain subscriptions, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and keep appropriate business and financial records.
Meta Platform Data, including access tokens and Page or account insights, is retained only while your Meta connection is active. When you disconnect from BeeTopic or remove BeeTopic from your Facebook Business Integrations, we delete the associated tokens and Meta-derived data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Retention periods may otherwise vary depending on the type of data, the reason it was collected, legal requirements, and operational necessity.

9. Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your personal information at any time. For data BeeTopic holds about your Facebook Page or Instagram account, you have three options:
From inside BeeTopic: Open Settings → Integrations and click Disconnect next to the Facebook or Instagram integration.

From Facebook: Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations, select BeeTopic, and click Remove. Facebook will notify us automatically.

By email: Send a request to support@beetopic.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and include the Facebook Page or Instagram account name.

We will delete the relevant data within 30 days of the request, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, or fraud prevention purposes. Full instructions are available at https://beetopic.com/data-deletion/.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your country of residence, including where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may have data protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.
Where required, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Access tokens issued by Meta and other connected platforms are stored encrypted at rest and transmitted over secure channels. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, which may include the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.
